I have a literary agent!

A real, live New York City literary agent.

I’m delighted to report that I have signed with Lindsay Ribar at Sanford J. Greenburger associates.  Even before we signed the author agency agreement, Lindsay has been remarkably helpful in improving my novel The Path of Names.   And now, she will be actively selling the novel on my behalf.  Which is terrific, as I’m almost positive I’m better at writing things than selling things.

In addition to being an agent for Sanford J. Greenburger, Lindsay is a YA fantasy author herself.   She has recently sold her debut YA trilogy “The Fourth Wish” to Dial.

It’s the kind of thing where I’m sorry I’m working at home alone today, as I am dying to tell someone, “oh yeah, I’d love to chat, but I told my agent I’d get a novel pitch to her by tomorrow afternoon.” (This is technically true, although it was a more or less self-imposed deadline…)

Speaking of which, I should get back to it.
